The Boogeymen

The Boogiemen (now Boogeymen) began in 2001 as a side project for Kevin Heckeler and Lewis Benko.  Sitting in on vocals and doing some lyric writing is Kevin's old friend Scott Watts.

In 2007 and 2008 Kevin started collaborating with some musicians he met online.  Their influence on these songs has been immense, both through the excellent contributions as performers and for their honest feedback.  Only half of the process of creating music is heard in the actual song.  Eventually Kevin's side work with Mike Vieira and Brian Patrick evolved into a full fledge project called The Systemic.  Several songs were in the works with the intent to release a full album in early 2011, but internal strife brought the project to an abrupt close.
